Information we handle

When you sign in with Google, we receive the account information provided through the permissions you approve to identify your NQuire account.

When you connect your Etsy shop, we handle the authorization information needed to access your shop and the shop and listing information used by the features you request. This includes information such as shop details, listing titles, descriptions, prices, quantities, attributes, and photos.

We also handle information you provide to NQuire, such as product photos, product details, saved drafts, edit proposals, and action confirmations. When you use NQuire through ChatGPT, the information included in a tool request is sent to NQuire and the results are returned to ChatGPT.

If you contact support, we receive your email address and the information you include in your message. Please do not send passwords, verification codes, or access tokens.

NQuire in ChatGPT and other AI apps

When you connect NQuire in ChatGPT (or another AI app, such as Claude), the app sends NQuire only what the tool you are using needs:

  • your NQuire sign-in: an access token the app holds for you. NQuire stores only a scrambled form (a hash) of it;
  • the listing details the tool needs, such as the title, description, price, quantity, size, materials, tags, category attributes and the shipping and processing choices;
  • short quotes of your own words for the values you gave, for example “price: it’s $34” (at most 12 short quotes per request). NQuire uses them to check that a price, size or material it records as yours really came from you, and saves each quote with the draft as the source of that value. NQuire doesn’t ask for, receive or keep the rest of your conversation;
  • photos you attach. NQuire downloads them from the app’s temporary link and removes their location and camera details (EXIF and GPS) before storing them.

NQuire sends back to the app: your shop’s name, currency and listing counts; your listings’ titles, descriptions, prices, quantities, tags, attributes and photo links; your NQuire drafts and what they still need; your audit results; and the outcome of each action you confirmed. NQuire doesn’t send back your name or email address.

When an action you confirmed is sent to Etsy (creating a listing, making it live, or changing a listing), NQuire keeps a record of it. The record holds your account’s email address, what was done, which draft and listing it was, the listing’s title, the date and time, and which app asked (for example ChatGPT). You and we can use it to see what happened. NQuire also records when each connected app was last used, and shows it in Settings, Connected apps.

Logs and technical data

NQuire’s servers keep technical logs to run and secure the Service. A log entry can include the time, the address requested, your IP address, your browser’s user agent and whether the request worked. Logs leave out sign-in codes, upload links’ tokens, passwords and access tokens. Your IP address is also used, for a short time, to limit repeated sign-in attempts. We don’t use logs or IP addresses for advertising, tracking or profiling.

How we use information

We use information to sign you in, connect your authorized shop, show shop and listing information, prepare drafts and suggestions, and perform the actions you request and confirm. We also use information to respond to support requests, troubleshoot problems, protect the Service, and meet applicable legal obligations.

AI processing

When you use NQuire’s own chat at seller.nquirehub.com, your messages, photos and shop details are sent through OpenRouter to AI models from OpenAI and Google to prepare drafts and answers. NQuire does not use your content to train AI models.

When you use NQuire inside ChatGPT, ChatGPT’s own model handles the conversation. NQuire does not send that conversation to OpenRouter.

Sharing and connected services

Information is exchanged with Google for sign-in, Etsy for authorized shop operations, and OpenAI through the ChatGPT integration. Information is also processed by service providers used to host, store, secure, and operate NQuire, and by authorized people providing support or maintaining the Service, as needed for those purposes.

DigitalOcean hosts NQuire’s servers and database in the United States (New York). OpenRouter and the AI model providers named above process what you send in NQuire’s own chat. If you send a bug report with the “Report a bug” button in the app, your description, the screenshot and open chat you choose to include, and technical details such as your browser and screen size may be filed in a private GitHub repository, with email addresses and secrets removed, so we can fix the problem.

We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to investigate misuse or protect legal rights, subject to applicable law.

Google, Etsy, and OpenAI handle information under their own applicable privacy policies. Information you submit directly to ChatGPT is also subject to OpenAI’s policies and your account settings.

Retention

We keep information only as long as it is needed:

  • Your account, saved drafts (with the quotes of your words saved as each value’s source), your shop’s settings as NQuire last read them, and the record of actions sent to Etsy: while your account is active, until you delete a draft, or until you ask us to delete your account. When we delete your account, we delete these with it, including the record of actions.
  • Photos you add but don’t use in a draft or a message: deleted 1 day after they were added. Photo upload links work for 30 minutes and are deleted 2 days after they expire.
  • Confirmation codes for previews: valid for 10 minutes and deleted 1 day after they expire.
  • Shop audits: your 5 most recent finished audits. Older audits are deleted.
  • Sign-in for connected apps: access tokens last 1 hour and refresh tokens 30 days. Both are deleted when you remove the app or sign out of it.
  • Your Etsy connection: kept while your shop is connected, and deleted when you disconnect it.
  • Technical logs: deleted as newer logs replace them; each part of the Service keeps at most 50 MB of logs.
  • Backups of the database: kept for up to 14 days for daily backups and 8 weeks for weekly backups, then replaced.

After an account-deletion request has been verified, we delete or de-identify information that is no longer needed. Information may be retained where necessary to meet a legal obligation, resolve an active dispute, or investigate a security incident, and only for as long as that purpose requires. Copies in backups may remain until those backups are replaced under the applicable backup cycle.

Cookies

NQuire uses a sign-in cookie to keep you signed in for up to 7 days, and short-lived cookies while you sign in and when you connect Etsy. NQuire does not use advertising or analytics cookies.

Your choices

You can stop using NQuire and revoke its access through the connected service’s account or app-permission settings. Revoking access does not automatically delete information already stored by NQuire.

To request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information or account, email amaan@trynquirehub.com, preferably from your NQuire account email. We may verify ownership before acting. We handle requests and any applicable rights to withdraw consent, object, or restrict processing in accordance with applicable law.

You can remove NQuire’s access to ChatGPT or another AI app at any time, in NQuire under Settings, Connected apps, or by asking NQuire in that app to sign you out. You can delete drafts in NQuire’s Drafts.

Deleting your NQuire account does not automatically delete Etsy listings, changes already sent to Etsy, or your ChatGPT conversations. Manage those separately with the relevant provider.

Security

No online service can guarantee complete security. Keep your Google and Etsy credentials secure, review the permissions you grant, and contact amaan@trynquirehub.com if you suspect unauthorized access or a privacy issue.

Processing locations

NQuire is operated from India. NQuire’s servers are in the United States. Connected services and infrastructure providers may process information in other countries. The privacy policies of those providers describe their own processing practices.

Children

NQuire is intended for users aged 18 or older. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Changes

We may update this policy as the Service or our practices change. We will publish the updated policy here and revise the effective date. We will provide notice of material changes where required by applicable law.
